I’m surprised more people don’t talk about this, but the CIA (and its forerunner the OSS) was:

* conceived by Rockefeller people
* subsidized by the Rockefellers
* modeled after the Rockefeller family’s own well-established pattern of criminal behavior.

The principles of both organizations:

1. Secrecy
2. Plausible deniability
3. Use of bribery and it not successful, violence
4. Sabotage
5. Corruption of public officials
6. Vehemently anti-labor
7. Anti-Democratic
8. Contemptuous of the environment
9. In the service of oil companies, banks and other large financial and industrial collectives.

How loathsome is Anderson Cooper and CNN?

Watch him operate as an attack dog for Big Pharma against a Congressmen whose grandchild was made autistic by a vaccine injury.

Clearly he had come prepared – and hostile – to undermine the credibility of someone asking that vaccine safety be studied and taken more seriously.

This issue lets you see into people’s true characters very clearly. I never did like Anderson “CIA” Cooper Vanderbilt. Now I know why.

Now, to clean the poison out, here’s an intelligent discussion with ethical people.

Truman said “no”, Eisenhower said “yes”

On this day in 1953, the CIA staged a coup in Iran overturning its democratically elected leader.

We have been paying the price for this illegal act ever since.

Why did they do it?

Iran nationalized its oil. What does that mean? They told British Petroleum “the oil in our country belongs to us.”

This caused British Petroleum (BP) and the UK government to flip out.

They went to the US and asked to different presidents to intervene. Truman, to his great credit, said “no.” Eisenhower said “yes.”

The country was given over to the corrupt Shah who in exchange for billions in bribes and arms gave turned the country’s oil over to BP. To keep control over people who never elected him the Shah employed CIA torture experts to help set up a secret police.

And we wonder why there is turmoil in the region.

Unfortunately this “success” led to other CIA supported coups – in Guatemala, in Indonesia, in Vietnam, in the Congo, in the Dominican Republic, in Brazil, and in Chile.

Between 1947 and 1989, the United States tried to change other nations’ governments 72 times. Most of the attempts failed.

I always felt that Vincent Bugliosi was a front man for the CIA – as so many high profile LA law enforcement people are.

He covered for them with his ridiculous Kennedy assassination book…and I also had a hunch in his prosecution of the Charles Manson case and his book “Helter Skelter.”

The “lone mastermind criminal genius story” never made sense. Here’s someone who found a circumstantial connection between Manson and one of the creators of the CIA’s MK-Ultra.

Wikipedia has some great information about math and sciences like chemistry.

…but it ain’t no encyclopedia.

In fact, once it gets away from science the information gets pretty suspect.

The people who control wikipedia tend to be people who like to learn and follow arcane laws to the exclusion of non-technical experts.

The calm before the storm

This 1996 interview with Gary Webb took place after his “Dark Alliance” newspaper series made waves across the country for piecing together the puzzle of the US crack epidemic.

The pipeline of CIA backed drug smuggling into the country and money smuggling out of the country to support the Nicaraguan Contras was wide open from the mid 1970s on, with players using everything from their shoes to freighters to move cocaine.

Webb was widely smeared by the CIA’s favorite newspapers (The New York Times, the Washington Post, The LA Times) shortly after this interview.

He was eventually vindicated, but not before his career was destroyed. He was found dead of an apparent suicide in 2005. The price of being a whistleblower?
