TSA Let 25 Illegal Aliens Attend Flight School Owned by Illegal Alien

The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) approved flight training for 25 illegal aliens at a Boston-area flight school that was owned by yet another illegal alien, according to the Government Accountability Office.

The illegal-alien flight-school attendees included eight who had entered the country illegally and 17 who had overstayed their allowed period of admission into the United States, according to an audit by the GAO.

Six of the illegal aliens were actually able to get pilot’s licenses.

Discovery of the trouble at the flight school began when local police–not federal authorities–pulled over the owner of the school on a traffic violation and were able to determine that he was an illegal alien.

The TSA’s brute who opened and spilled the container of ashes passenger John Gross was transporting from Florida to his home in Indiana — and then laughed as Mr. Gross scrambled to pick up “bone fragments” from the floor — has infuriated folks across the country. It is the scandal du semaine — then again, we’re only halfway through the week, and I have every confidence the TSA can top even this horror in the next three days — for the agency right now, the subject of 5 of the 8 “News” “results” my Google Alert on the TSA kicked up. Even the UK’s Daily Mail featured the story. And a friend whose office is too hectic for any other than the most earth-shattering news to penetrate mentioned it when we bumped into each other yesterday. Everyone has heard about it, and everyone is enraged.

Fortunately, the TSA has had plenty of experience infuriating and enraging the serfs who pay its bills. It should be a pro by now at dealing with such absolutely devastating publicity. Judge for yourself how much its boneheads have learned by their response to this atrocity: After babbling about how “TSA recognizes the importance of screening human remains with utmost respect and dignity” — which its goon manifestly did not do — its “statement” continues, “We have been unable to reach the family to learn more about their perspective on the incident [sic for ‘to threaten them with the No-List if they don’t shut up’; good for you, Mr. Gross — keep avoiding these monsters, is my advice], however, our initial review concluded that the circumstances as described in some reports are inconsistent with what we believe transpired.”

So in addition to the savage abuse Mr. Gross suffered at the checkpoint, the TSA now smears him as a liar. This from professional, serial, psychopathic, utterly-incapable-of-telling-the-truth liars.

Meanwhile, the reason “TSA policy” commands “that under no circumstance should a container holding remains be opened” is because it’s against the law. Departments of “health” forbid it. So Mr. Gross may have the last laugh on his cachinnating dimwit after all if cops arrest her for violating state or local regs — just as they have arrested her colleagues for such other examples of lawbreaking as theft. (No, I’m not endorsing the “health” dictators or their regs, just pointing out that Dimwit committed a crime as Leviathan defines it.)

She may not be old enough to speak in full sentences, but one 18-month-old child was ordered off a plane by airline officials who claimed she was on the ‘no fly’ list, her parents said.

The toddler, Riyanna, was on a flight at the Fort Lauderdale Airport when a JetBlue employee approached her parents and asked them to get off the flight to speak to representatives from the Transportation Security Agency, her parents told WPBF-TV.

“I said ‘For what?’” Riyanna’s mother told the TV station. “And he said, ‘Well it’s not you or your husband. Your daughter was flagged as a no fly.’”

The TSA’s mission creep is making the US a police state

The out-of-control Transportation Security Administration is past patdowns at airports – now it’s checkpoints and roadblocks

Ever since 2010, when the Transportation Security Administration started requiring that travelers in American airports submit to sexually intrusive gropings based on the apparent anti-terrorism principle that “If we can’t feel your nipples, they must be a bomb”, the agency’s craven apologists have shouted down all constitutional or human rights objections with the mantra “If you don’t like it, don’t fly!”

This callous disregard for travelers’ rights merely paraphrases the words of Homeland Security director Janet Napolitano, who shares, with the president, ultimate responsibility for all TSA travesties since 2009. In November 2010, with the groping policy only a few weeks old, Napolitano dismissed complaints by saying “people [who] want to travel by some other means” have that right. (In other words: if you don’t like it, don’t fly.)

But now TSA is invading travel by other means, too. No surprise, really: as soon as she established groping in airports, Napolitano expressed her desire to expand TSA jurisdiction over all forms of mass transit. In the past year, TSA’s snakelike VIPR (Visual Intermodal Prevention and Response) teams have been slithering into more and more bus and train stations – and even running checkpoints on highways – never in response to actual threats, but apparently more in an attempt to live up to the inspirational motto displayed at the TSA’s air marshal training center since the agency’s inception: “Dominate. Intimidate. Control.”

Anyone who rode the bus in Houston, Texas during the 2-10pm shift last Friday faced random bag checks and sweeps by both drug-sniffing dogs and bomb-sniffing dogs (the latter being only canines necessary if “preventing terrorism” were the actual intent of these raids), all courtesy of a joint effort between TSA VIPR nests and three different local and county-level police departments. The new Napolitano doctrine, then: “Show us your papers, show us everything you’ve got, justify yourself or you’re not allowed to go about your everyday business.”

Congresswoman Sheila Jackson-Lee praised these violations of her constituents’ rights with an explanation asinine even by congressional standards:

“We’re looking to make sure that the lady I saw walking with a cane … knows that Metro cares as much about her as we do about building the light rail.”

See, if you don’t support the random harassment of ordinary people riding the bus to work, you’re a callous bastard who doesn’t care about little old ladies.

No specific threats or reasons were cited for the raids, as the government no longer even pretends to need any. Vipers bite you just because they can. TSA spokesman Jim Fotenos confirmed this a few days before the Houston raids, when VIPR teams and local police did the same thing to travelers catching trains out of the Amtrak station in Alton, Illinois. Fotenos confirmed that “It was not in response to a specific threat,” and bragged that VIPR teams conduct “thousands” of these operations each year.

Still, apologists can pretend that’s all good, pretend constitutional and human rights somehow don’t apply to mass transit, and twist their minds into the Mobius pretzel shapes necessary to find random searches of everyday travelers compatible with any notion that America is a free country. “Don’t like the new rules for mass transit? Then drive.”

Except even that doesn’t work anymore. Earlier this month, the VIPRs came out again in Virginia and infested the Hampton Roads Bridge-Tunnel, also known as the stretch of Interstate 64 connecting the cities of Hampton and Norfolk. Spokesmen admitted again that the exercise was a “routine sweep”, not a response to any specific threat. Official news outlets admitted the checkpoint caused a delay (further exacerbated by a couple of accidents), but didn’t say for how long. Local commenters at the Travel Underground forums reported delays of 90 minutes.

Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee, a Senior Member of the House Homeland Security Committee, released the following statement regarding today’s BusSafe event in Houston, Texas:

“We are here today to discuss a critical component of TSA’s mission, surface and mass transit security. TSA has been tasked with a complex and evolving mission: to secure our transportation systems while maintaining the healthy movement of goods, services, and people. Since it was created nearly a decade ago in the wake of the 9/11 attacks, TSA has focused the vast majority of its resources and assets on aviation security.

“Clearly, the threat to aviation is still present, but TSA cannot ignore the obvious trend of terrorist attacks on surface transportation assets worldwide. Our domestic transit, bus, and rail systems have thus far been spared, but terrorist attacks in Spain, Great Britain, India, Japan and Russia over the last few years have emphasized how critical these systems are to protecting large urban areas.

“The attacks we have witnessed abroad have been well executed with devastating consequences. They demonstrate that securing a surface environment presents unique obstacles and vulnerabilities that do not exist in other modes. According to the National Counter Terrorism Center’s Worldwide Incidents Tracking System, since January 2004, over 1000 terrorist attacks were waged worldwide against mass transit and passenger rail targets, resulting in over 2,000 deaths and over 9,000 injuries.

“Many such attacks have targeted major cities in industrial democracies, including Madrid, London, Mumbai (twice), and Moscow. Ever since a plot to attack the New York City subway system was revealed in 2009, there can be no doubt that U.S. systems are bona fide terrorist targets as well. Our Nation’s mass transit and passenger rail systems provide 34 million passenger trips each weekday, compared to the 1.7 million passengers flying daily on commercial domestic and international flights. This Congress, I introduced the “Surface Transportation and Mass Transit Security Act of 2011” which seeks to authorize adequate resources and program attention to surface and mass transit security programs at the Transportation Security Administration.

“To this end, the bill establishes the Surface Transportation Security Inspection Office and authorizes additional surface inspectors. The bill also creates mechanisms to strengthen stakeholder outreach, makes key revisions to the public transportation security assistance grants program and increases canine teams and resources for surface and mass transit modes.

“Furthermore, under its National Explosives Detection Canine Team Program, TSA procures trains, deploys, and certifies explosives detection canine teams—each of which is paired with a handler—to provide mobile and flexible deterrence and explosives detection capabilities in furtherance of its mission to secure all modes of transportation.

“TSA currently has 920 canine explosive detection teams deployed across the country. I have supported the President’s budget request to sustain the canine explosive detection program administered by TSA. Furthermore I am pleased to see that today’s announcement on BUS SAFE program supports certain priorities stressed by my surface and mass transit bill.

“I have met with the new TSA Administrator, Mr. Pistole, who shares my concern about improving our surface security efforts, and I look forward to working with him to make this happen. We are in a new era for TSA, and with hard work and determination, a new era also for surface transportation security.”

They a lot did more than just extend it

The media myth is that the PATRIOT Act as we know it was extended.

The real story is that the PATRIOT Act is being used in ways that American citizens know nothing about.

The “stretching” of the law has been so extreme that even Senators on the Intelligence Committee are alarmed.

Lt. Governor David Dewhurst sells out Texas

The Feds can always count on a local snake who will sell out his fellow citizens in exchange for an “atta-boy.”

The villain of this story is Texas Lt. Governor David Dewhurst who worked behind the scenes to pressure individual Texas legislators to abandon their principles and cave into the TSA’s bullying.

Disgraceful.

If there’s any backbone in Texas, this should be a career-ending move for Dewhurst.

The ongoing corruption of science

Five physics professors have some forward to point out that the TSA’s claims about the safety of the newly installed full body scanners are fraudulent.

Here are just some of the problems:

1. The TSA ran its own test.

2. They won’t reveal the names of the testers.

3. They blacked out huge portion of their own report.

4. They won’t let anyone else test these machines.

5. There is no way to get the image quality they’re getting with the low level of radiation they’re claiming.

Five scientists stepped forward. THOUSANDS are remaining silent. And the US news media that has a golden scoop laid at their feet chooses to ignore the story.

Is anyone in charge here?

There’s no security issue with people ARRIVING by train so these searches are not the usual total BS. They’re total BS cubed.

Here’s the law that protects people from purposeless searches and other abuses by “officials.”

It comes in the form of granting legal recourse to personally sue the blue-shirted molestors, their immediate supervisors and every other TSA idiot right up to the person who issued the order for this misconduct.

The legality of these kinds of searches even for passengers boarding air planes is dubious at best. For people getting off trains, it’s got to be several rungs below zero.

Let’s have some rule of law.

§ 1983. Civil action for deprivation of rights

EVERY PERSON who, under color of any statute, ordinance, regulation, custom, or usage, of any State or Territory or the District of Columbia, subjects, or causes to be subjected, any citizen of the United States or other person within the jurisdiction thereof to the deprivation of any rights, privileges, or immunities secured by the Constitution and laws, shall be liable to the party injured in an action at law, suit in equity, or other proper proceeding for redress, except that in any action brought against a judicial officer for an act or omission taken in such officer’s judicial capacity, injunctive relief shall not be granted unless a declaratory decree was violated or declaratory relief was unavailable. For the purposes of this section, any Act of Congress applicable exclusively to the District of Columbia shall be considered to be a statute of the District of Columbia.

Interpretation: Only judges get to act like total assholes with immunity. Every other official, if they attempt to use “the law” as an excuse for violating someone’s rights, is PERSONALLY LIABLE to a lawsuit for doing so.
