I’m not a big fan of Newt Gingrich (“Newtie”), but in this short clip he speaks some truth.

Only an able-bodied, lucky, ass-kissing bureaucrat could come up with a statement like this.

Thanks to “Newtie” for bringing it to the public’s attention and thanks to C-Span for capturing it. Interestingly, because it’s on Brasscheck TV probably ten times as many people will now see as originally saw it on C-Span.

It’s predictable that the news media is going to remember: Ali the athlete… Ali the “character”…maybe Ali the man who endured debilitating illness.

What they won’t talk about was his crystal clear and principled stand against war.

He didn’t run to Canada.

He didn’t go to college and stay there.

He did have his daddy give him a no-show job with the National Guard (George Bush.)

He didn’t pull political strings to get deferments (Dick Cheney.)

He said he wasn’t going to go and why he wouldn’t.

He stood his ground and took the consequences: He had his title taken away, he lost his livelihood, and faced the threat of years of imprisonment.

No, the pro war propaganda system (I mean the news media) doesn’t want to tell that story.

A radical plan for American military domination

Neo-conservatism has transformed the Republican Party and the United States since the presidency of Dwight Eisenhower. Why? Just who are these ‘neo-cons’ and how did they arise to power? And how is it that the right-wing neo-cons support terrorism when it is in their interests?

The answer lies with a little known figure by the name of philosopher Leo Strauss. Leo Strauss is the Pope of neo-conservatism. Paul Wolfowitz (The Wolfowitz Doctrine), Douglas Feith, Richard Perle, James Woolsey and many other former and current high officials in the US Government are disciples of Strauss who believed that the elite should use deception, religious fervor and perpetual war to control the ignorant masses.

Carl Schmitt, known as the Crown Jurist of the Third Reich, is another ideological guru to the neo-conservatives. Schmitt designed the Emergency Law Provisions of the Weimar Republic in Germany that allowed Adolph Hitler to proclaim Marshall Law and take power. Hitler then concretized this power after the burning of the Reichstag Building.

“We can’t spy if we can’t buy.”

Edward Snowden didn’t actually work for the National Security Administration (NSA). He worked for a private surveillance contractor called Booz Allen Hamilton.

So, if Snowden didn’t work for the NSA, how could he expose illegal NSA spying?

The answer lies with the revolving door politics of Washington and the integration of the private contractor community with federal surveillance agencies. The result has been the emergence of a new American Intelligence Industry inhabited by former high level Washington ‘spooks’.

Private security contractor, Booz Allen Hamilton is owned by the Carlyle Group. The list of CEO’s at Booz Hamilton reads like an intelligence rolodex from the federal government.
